Airport Guide for Pilots (click to download the PDF file): Media:BXM_Airport_Guide.pdf
Please note that it is RIGHT traffic for runway 1R (One Right), and LEFT traffic for runway 19L (One Nine Left).
Essentially, stay on the East side of the airport which is the opposite side from the town of Brunswick and Bowdoin College.
There is no operating tower at the airport, so please use the CTAF frequency and self announce.
After landing, switch to 123.45 for ground ops.
Please note if you are in a helicopter, land at the Helipad and air-taxi to the helicopter parking space.
View of the airport from the north side facing south, as if on a long final for 19L:
From the North
Get on I-295 South towards Brunswick.
Take exit 31A to merge onto ME-196 E/Lewiston Rd toward Topsham/Brunswick
From the South
Get on I-295 North towards Brunswick.
Take exit 31 for ME-196 E toward Topsham/Brunswick.
Once on ME-196 E
Stay on 196 East for about 2.5 miles, then merge onto RT 1 North (on the left).
In approximately 2 miles, take the Cooks Corner exit (This is the first exit after you get onto RT 1).
Turn right onto ME-24 N/Bath Rd.
Go to the second traffic light and turn left onto the ex-Navy Base property. You will see a large airplane on display on your left after you make the turn. Continue straight by the gate house, and continue on this road until you are at a "T" intersection and cannot go straight anymore. You will see signs to parking and the entrance to the Fly-In.
