EAA Chapter 87 Minutes of Meeting Dated November 11, 2014 Submitted by Richard DeVito – Secretary
The November meeting was held at Brunswick Executive Airport. President Charlie Gabelmann called the meeting to order at 1930.
1. SECRETARIES REPORT
The Secretaries report was not read since it was previously published on the chapter web site. It was accepted as published.
2. TREASURER’S REPORT
Tom Muller reported that the bank balance on 10/31/14 was $5,320.65. This included expenditures of $137.04 for Grady’s plaque, and $52 for dinner. The report was accepted as submitted
3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Chapter members elected the following individuals as Officers for 2015:

4. NEW BUSINESS
It was reported that EAA Tech Counselors and Flight Advisors no longer need to annually renew their positions. It will now be printed on their EAA membership cards.
Safety Seminar – John Wood of the FAA will conduct a safety seminar (Lower Your Accident Risks) on January 13, 2015 starting at 1800 in building 27 at Brunswick Executive Airport. Building 27 is located at 8 Venture Ave, and directions to the facility follow:
The main entrance to Brunswick Executive Airport is onto Admiral Fitch Ave. Go to stop sign and take a left onto Pegasus St. Go to stop sign and take a right on Burbank Ave. Take first left on to Venture Ave.
Tom Muller reported he is working on the elevators for his Zenith 750. He is also looking at radios and will choose Dynon. He has not decided on an engine, but is considering a Corvair.
The meeting was adjourned at 2045, and Charlie played Chapter videos for our evening program.
The December meeting will consist of the annual Chapter Christmas Party, and will be Pot Luck. Presents will not be exchanged. All members along with wives and significant others are encouraged to attend. The party will be held on Saturday December 6th in the upstairs meeting room in the terminal building a Brunswick Executive Airport (KBMEX) commencing at 1730 hours.
The Chapter will provide plates, glasses, cups, napkins, soft drinks, etc. Alcohol is allowed but members must bring their own drinks. Please bring a salad, main dish, or dessert that will serve six.
